Hedge Fund Hiring Signals (the platform) is operated by ELW Partners, a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom. A licence is an agreement between ELW Partners and the firm or individual holding the account (the licensee).
A licence is a monthly plan with a fixed number of candidate maps. A candidate map scores one candidate's CV against every live role on the platform. Maps are for the licensee's own candidates. Unused maps do not carry over to the next month. A licence can be cancelled at any time and runs to the end of the paid month.
CVs uploaded to the platform, and the maps made from them, are visible only to the account that uploaded them. They are never sold, never shared with any other licensee or any fund, and never used to contact the candidate. The licensee confirms it has the candidate's permission to upload their CV. Under UK data protection law the licensee is the controller of that data and ELW Partners processes it only to produce the maps. Any candidate's data is deleted permanently on request, and in any case twelve months after the licence ends.
ELW Partners does not recruit against its licensees. If ELW Partners ever places a candidate that a licensee has run through the platform, the full placement fee for that placement belongs to the licensee.
Roles on the platform are collected from the funds' own public postings and refreshed every day. They are provided as found: a posting can close, change or be filled before a map is read. The licensee may use maps to introduce its own candidates. The licensee may not copy roles in bulk, export or resell the data, or share maps outside its own firm. Doing so ends the licence with no refund.
Plans are billed monthly in advance in US dollars. A price change takes effect at the first renewal after thirty days' notice.
The platform is provided as it is. ELW Partners is not liable for a hiring decision, a fee dispute with a fund, or a posting that has changed. Total liability under a licence is limited to the fees paid in the three months before the claim.
